Christmas Cruise

Don't hate me...We just returned from 80 degree weather in the Caribbean.  We were on an Eastern Caribbean cruise for 7 days.  We went to Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Maarten, Half Moon Cay.  It was beautiful.  Our ship was Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam.  It was decked out for Christmas.

Pumpkins are fun!

This is the dining room table decked out for Autumn.  The tray and candlesticks are from Southern Living. the pumpkin was a birthday gift.  The rooster plates are from Williams and Sonoma outlet.  The LOML surprised me with the plates, he is the best!

The amber glasses are from the Chris Madden Collection at JC Penney.
This little table is in the sunroom.  We like to eat breakfast here and look outside at the horses and trees.
The door to my studio got a makeover too.  I found several vinyl words at a yard sale.  I decided the "inspiring" was perfect for my studio door.  Then I added a hook so I can put seasonal decor on the door.
This conservatory was purchased at a flea market here in town.  I like to decorate it seasonally too.  The pumpkin inside lights up.  I found it at Marshalls last year.
These lil" ones are part of my vintage dog figurine collection.  The poodles sit near my kitchen sink so I can talk to them while I am washing dishes.
I hope you are enjoying Fall as much as I am!!!!!!!!!

Some more pics from the North Georgia Mountains.  We missed peak color season by a week or two, but it was still beautiful.

Autumn Mountains

We just got back from a short trip to the mountains.  In Murphy, N.C. we visited an awesome store called The Moose Hollow.  If you like cabin decor this is the place to shop.

We stayed at our friends cabin.  This is an outdoor shelter with fireplace.
The screened porch is off of the kitchen,

It is a beautiful place to relax.  I would love to have a cabin or lake house one day.  I would decorate with vintage finds, shabby furniture, and old quilts.

More Autumn Decorating

The Foyer is spruced up for fall.  My antique hall tree likes to change for the seasons.  I added the little black iron squirrel with a candle, the pumpkin place mat and the pumpkin wreath on the wall.  The domino filled vase, lamp, vintage camera and umbrella stay there year round.  I got the domino idea from my friend Hayley.

Autumn Arrives

I found this vintage cooler at Riverview Flea Market in Ozark.  I love the orange lid.  I thought a painted pumpkin was just what it needed. I bought a couple of yards of burlap at Hobby Lobby and cut it in half to add on the handle.  If you remember from an earlier post that I painted a snowman on a vintage cooler.  The coolers are hard to find now, and are usually expensive.  I found this one for $22.00, SCORE!!!!

Happy Anniversary

The loml and moi just celebrated 26 years of marriage.  We went to KC Missouri for a couple of days.  We really like to visit The Plaza area.  We also visited my Mother Ship Anthropologie.  I love that store.
