5 Days Until Christmas, Are you Ready?

Christmas Snowmen

This is the cute handpainted tray my friend Pam gave me for Christmas. The lady who painted this also paints on old suitcases, coolers, vintage trays etc. I am thinking I need a suitcase : )

Happy Holidays! Stay Warm!

It's Lyndis 7th Birthday

I wanted to share the scarf I just finished. I decided to add a ruffle and rosettes with vintage buttons. I think it turned out great. I love this fuzzy yarn, the colors are amazing.

Over 2 years ago little Lyndi came into our lives through Dachshund Rescue of North America. After a couple of days of adjustment she fit right into our family. Penny and Lyndi became best friends and cohorts in mischief. Sometimes I feel that these precious creatures rescue us with their devotion and unconditional love. I would encourage everyone who is thinking of adding a pet to your family please consider adoption.

More Christmas...

The tree looks better in person and especially at night.
I made these letters last year. I stuck them on the wall with poster tack.

I found a whole box of this vintage china at a flea market. It is called Star Glow. Probably from the 50's. I especially like the sugar and creamer, they are so cute. The whole box was only $12.00.

Merry Christmas

We have decided to list our house with Keller Williams. I didn't go all out with the Christmas decorations this year. I decided to try a white christmas tree this year. I am not sure if I love it, but it is different. It is pretty lit up with white lights. I still have some shopping to do and I am trying to motivate myself.
This past weekend I went with my friends Pam and Judith to the Midtown Victorian Home Tours. It was fun and it definitely help with my Christmas Spirit. The character in those homes reminded me of years gone by when Christmas was so much simpler not like the hussle and bussle today. Homemade gifts and treats, popcorn decorated trees.
